currently, i am creative director at schauspiel köln, one of germany's major municipal theatres, shaping its visual identity and public presence during its return to the heart of the city after 14 years of reconstruction
before returning to the city centre, the theatre was relocated to a former factory hall on the outskirts of cologne
for its final season in this interim venue, i was brought on as creative director to reposition it as a cultural destination in its own right rather than a temporary compromise
together with kay voges, i developed the creative direction and visual identity for a venue inspired as much by contemporary art spaces and nightclubs as by theatre
